The following were listed in the 1850 census for Shaftsbury, Bennington Cty, VT. All were b. in Canada, and were farm laborers in one neighborhood. Anthony BUFALON b. ca 1805, John FIGGE b. ca 1820, Lese PRIVO b. ca 1810 Battese LABOUTA b. ca 1821, Battese BURTON/BERTON (aka BARTON, possibly a BERTRAND from Rouville, Quebec) b. ca 1802. ANS #336 Muriel C. of Montreal found a database source which included Catherine (Marie) DUBE b. 13 Mar 1751 St Roch-des-Aulnaies, QUE as well as her siblings born of the union of Joseph DUBE (Mathurin & Anna Marie Miville) & Angelique-Rosalie( (Marie) MORIN (Robert & Francoise Mignier-Lagace) marr. 7 Jun 1729 at La Pocatiere (Ste-Anne), QUE. Muriel had no info. on the family myth.
ANS #385 Muriel C. of Montreal suggests from her research that the Adelphine P.? could be Adelphine PERRON b. 1841 & baptised 4 Aug 1841 St Louis, L'Isle-aux-Coudres, QUE. We still need to find the marriage of Adelphone to Alphonse COUNTER.
